The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will see Pakistan being the primary host while matches are played in Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi. Nonetheless a hybrid format has been forced by the political tension existing between India and Pakistan. From group games through to the semi-finals (if they get there-) and final (if they qualify), all of India’s matches including their group-stage matches will be played at neutral venue in United Arab Emirates (specifically Dubai) at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The event is from 19th Feb to 9th March, 2025 and the final will most probably be played at Lahore Gaddafi Stadium[unless India qualify] as domestic cricket picks up the rest. This would be Pakistan’s first major ICC event since 1996 (with us clumsy co-hosts in India) after all.
